FAQs

Are donations to PSNBA tax deductible?
No they are not. The status that PSNBA has precludes donations from being tax deductible.
Who does PSNBA represent?
PSNBA represents everyone in Kitsap County generally. Specifically PSNBA represents civil servants, local business owners, contractors working for the Dept of the Navy, and active duty military personnel.
What is the purpose of PSNBA?
The purpose is to help keep a strong Navy presence here in Kitsap County. There are other organizations who would like to take our work away from us.
What does PSNBA do for me?
PSNBA sends representatives to the Pentagon and to Congress annually to present issues of importance for keeping a steady but ever changing workload here in Kitsap County and to support home porting issues.
We are in contact constantly with Congressionals and senior Navy officials bringing forth support for important issues.
We host evening functions for senior Naval officials when they visit to give local elected officials and local Navy management an opportunity to meet face to face and talk about the issues that are important to us.
We meet with local Commands here and with those Commands at CincPac and AirPac who support this area as well. |

We hold fundraising drives throughout the County to build our operating budget.
We have an open door policy that allows any member of PSNBA to attend Board meetings.

When are your meetings held?
Our General Board of Directors meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of every month at 4:45 pm. They are held at the Kitsap Transit office, located on the 2nd floor of the Harborside Conference Center in Bremerton. Our General Board Meetings are open to the public. If you would like to attend, please contact Anna Welling, Administrative Coordinator, at info@psnba.org for specific directions and to ensure there has not been a change in schedule. |
